SOLMAR V: 110' FISHING CHARTER VESSEL
Solmar V is a good example of design ingenuity when working within a
very tight budget. The design brief was to produce a Luxury Fishing
Charter vessel that would take 12 couples on an extended week cruise to
the Sea of Cortez fishing grounds. Comfortable cabins with in-suite
Bathrooms were to be provided, as well as Lounging areas where an 'English
Club' atmosphere was to be created. The use of 'off the shelf' joinery moldings was use to accomplish the desired look and meet the stringent budget.
